The Language of Prophecy

The Language of Prophecy will introduce you to how the bible often speaks in prophecy (which is most of the bible). As you become familiar with God's way of speaking, you will be less likely to be fooled by those who teach such language literally. God wants to know what he is saying, but he has reserved such teachings for the mature believer.

This new study series is currently under development (more content is on the way). The study guide is a working draft; this means that some content is available now. Videos will be made available as soon as possible rather than waiting for the entire series to be done.

1 - Proverbs and Parables

This study will show you the language the bible uses in proverbs and parables. There is usually much symbolism in this language, so what is described is not literal.

2 - Dreams and Visions

This study will show you how God speaks to prophets in dreams and visions. Much of what is seen is symbolic and not literal.

The Four Trees

This study teaches how God consistently uses certain trees to describe certain aspects of Israel.

The Parable of the Sower

The parable of the sower is a great example of how Jesus taught a truth using symbolism. The parable comes to us in three accounts, which greatly increases our chances of understanding the teaching.
